The road leading up to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway in Palm Springs, California. The tramway is the largest rotating aerial tramway in the world. It was opened in September 1963 as a way of getting from the floor of the Coachella Valley to near the top of San Jacinto Peak.

Point Ormond is an elevated point at the Elwood beach on Port Phillip Bay.It has had an interesting and varied history. Originally called Little Red Bluff, it was named after Captain Ormond who sailed up Port Phillip Bay in 1939.

I love finding less known locations and capturing them for enternity and sharing them with others. This 15 second time lapse near Milford Sound, New Zealand helps creates the milky flow of the river set against the motionless natural river rocks. Looks great in color as well.

Known for its hang gliding and paragliding pursuits, Stanwell Park is an idyllic beach town that offers breathtaking views of the NSW South Coast. Found on the southern edge of the Royal National Park.
The Sea Cliff Bridge completed in 2005 joined together the Lawrence Hargrave Drive Bridge and Lawrence Hargrave Drive, which were named in honour of Lawrence Hargrave, an Australian engineer, explorer, astronomer, inventor and aeronautical pioneer. The name "Sea Cliff Bridge" is credited to Makenzie Russell who's submission was chosen in a primary school naming competition.
This massive tree in the rainforest near Kuranda feels like cement to the touch. The Kauri Pine is a member of an ancient Australian family with fossils dating back epochs to the Jurassic period. It has survived the rise and fall of the dinosaurs and the massive diversification of the flowering plants. They are thought to live for several hundred years.
On a trip to Cairns, Australia we took the highly popular Kuranda Skyway. Rising from sea level to 328m, the journey to Kuranda winds its way through World Heritage protected tropical rainforest, past beautiful and spectacular waterfalls and into the awesome Barron Gorge.
Located in Port Douglas, Australia, the Sugar Wharf was built in 1904 before the Captain Cook Highway connected Port Douglas with the rest of the world. With a train line running directly to the wharf, cart loads of cargo were transported directly to waiting ships.
